In 1972 Mr. R.T. Kay contracted from local heating and air conditioning some 300 customer accounts full-time to do service work. In 1985, Randy Kay and Robert Hamlett expanded their North Carolina HVAC company to a building on English Street. They continued there until December 1994, when they moved to a building on Huffman Street.

In July 2003, they purchased the present location at 809 Post Street. This state-of-the-art building has 15,000 square feet with a complete sheet metal fabrication shop.
